“Stephen Pressfield in the “War of Art” wrote, "Most of us have two lives. The lives we live and the unlived life within us." Hambidge allows an artist to shed the life they live (the day to day life) and open up the unlived life. (that inner being that is artistic.) Hambidge gives us that chance to be and explore the artistic side. It's so rare to find a program that is not based on end results, there is always a pressure on an artist to create and produce. Hambidge is not that, it gives time and space for an artist to be with themself without the pressure of having to create and produce. This is an essential component to the work. Its needed in order to support the creation process that produces work. As an artist I was so impressed with Hambidge and what it supported me in doing, being an artist.
