Distinguished Fellowships
+ Sponsored residencies

Our Distinguished Fellowships and Sponsored Residencies are merit-based awards. Both remove the fees for a two-week residency, and the Distinguished Fellowships provide a stipend as well.

Distinguished Fellowships offer individuals and organizations the opportunity to directly support artists and their creative process. Support can be directed within a particular creative discipline, geographic area, demographic, etc. Sponsors commemorate someone special or support a passion through a one-time gift, annual gift or endowing a lasting gift. Sponsored Residencies are merit-based awards sponsored by mission-aligned partners.

If you’re interested in sponsoring, you can donate online, or contact Kathryn Banks at 770-851-5631 or kbanks@hambidge.org.

Previous Fellowships and recipients are listed below. Residency applicants can find our currently available Distinguished Fellowships within our online application.
