Hambidge is set to premiere the fourth year of FILMED @ Hambidge, a collaborative project pairing filmmakers with artists across disciplines to capture the creative process on film. A signature element of the program is the “meta film,” in which an additional filmmaker turns the lens on the filmmakers themselves, documenting their creative processes as they interpret the work of Hambidge artists.
The 2026 featured pairings include Paras Chaudhari, filming Simone Baron; John Dierre, filming Summer Blanco and Jordan Argrett; Ebony Blanding, filming Michi Meko; and Priscila Torres, filming Coulter Fussell. Lev Omelchenkov will create this year’s meta film, documenting the filmmakers and the collaborative process behind the project.
The resulting films—an exciting cross-pollination between Atlanta’s filmmaking community and Hambidge’s historic North Georgia artist residency—will premiere at the Tara Theatre on Sunday, November 8.
