ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
This workshop celebrates the rich seasonal flavors of Southern Appalachia through the art of pies and tarts. Participants will learn about regional ingredients while exploring traditions and techniques for seasonal baking. Attendees will prepare their own hand-crafted pear galette, chocolate caramel or citrus pie to take home, along with a collection of recipes highlighting seasonal produce.
All experience levels welcome.
ELIGIBILITY: Your primary address must be in Rabun County in order to attend this workshop. You will be asked to show ID with your address upon arriving.
Please note: space is limited to 8 participants for this workshop.
Each participant must register separately.
Open to local creatives over the age of 12.
Minors must be accompanied by a participating adult. Minors will not be asked for ID; only adults.
