Presented by PNC, this year’s Hambidge Art Auction + Virtual Performance Show was held in a very unique venue – our supporters’ living room! Taking a cue from the late night shows we all love, we goofed off in a live-streamed event – complete with our own ‘golf cart karaoke’ – interspersed with serious moments of enjoyment as we feature Hambidge-grown musical and dance performances by Fielded, Rising Appalachia, and T. Lang Dance.

The online auction featured more than 200 works by emerging and established artists from across the region, and more than one hundred $100 fixed-price works of art. Online bidding through GiveSmart began October 9 and ended October 24, 9:00 pm.

Our Patrons and Sponsors received VIP status, which included exclusive online content, early access to purchase $100 works, and a very special “Lil' Box of Stories” care package filled with Hambidge Grown goodies delivered to your home, featuring:
- original artwork by Lucinda Bunnen, William Downs, and Rachel K. Garceau
- libations by Farm2Cocktail to help you create your very own VIP Lounge
- a scrumptious snack by Jessamine Starr
- a recipe scrapbook with recipes by Steven Satterfield, Angie Mosier, and many more

Patrons who signed up early got to choose their William Downs original drawing.

There were opportunities to view the artwork in person in small, safe groups as well as virtual tours online.

Our Art Auction is Hambidge’s largest and most critical fundraiser. Proceeds go directly to participating artists and our residency program.
